3-6 Fall Festival: Volunteers Needed

This year, the 3-6 classes will enjoy Fall Festival, a morning of special events, on Monday, November 21, 2011, from 8:45-11:45 am.  In preparation for the festival, our teachers are in need of 6 volunteers to assist with various roles including face painting, BINGO calling, and managing the Leaf Walk station.

If you have time and wish to assist with this endeavor, our teachers would be glad to put you to work! You may sign up beside our classroom door or email Beth Casey. Since many of us work in the morning hours, please know that grandparents are very welcome to fill in as volunteers.  Their time may be applied to your family's volunteer hours as well.

Also, one of the Fall Festival stations will be the preparation of Pilgrim Stew, an annual tradition of the 3-6 classrooms.  At this station, our children will be peeling, cutting, and prepping several vegetable items for the crock pot under the watchful eye of a teacher.  Earlier this week, our teachers sent home a request for an ingredient  that we ask parents to contribute to this classroom meal.
